Partner Disclosure Guide

Version 1.0 · Last updated September 18, 2026 · Part of the Partner Program Agreement

The rule in one sentence

Say that you earn a commission, in plain words, right next to the link or recommendation, before anyone has to click, scroll, or expand anything.

Why this page exists

US law (the FTC Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255) says that when you recommend a product and get paid if people buy it, you have to tell your audience, clearly and where they will see it. The FTC holds both of us responsible: you for the disclosure, and Deepsel for giving you guidance, checking your content, and fixing problems. This page is that guidance. If your audience is in Canada, the Competition Bureau's rules on influencer marketing ask for the same thing, and the practices below satisfy them too.

Wording you can copy

Use one of these, unchanged or with your own name in it:

What does not count

The FTC has said these are not clear enough on their own. Do not rely on them:

Where to put it, by format

FormatWhere the disclosure goes
Blog post, article, or comparison pageAt the top of the post, before the first Deepsel link, in normal-size text. Adding "paid link" beside each link is good practice on top of that. If some products on the page pay you and others do not, say which.
YouTube or other long videoSay it out loud when you recommend Deepsel, and write it in the description above the "Show more" fold, next to the link. Tick the paid-promotion box as well.
Shorts, Reels, TikTokOn screen as a text overlay that stays long enough to read, and in the caption. Saying it in the audio is a plus.
PodcastSay it in the audio near the mention, and put it in the show notes next to the link.
Newsletter or emailNext to the link, or at the top of the section that talks about Deepsel.
X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram postsIn the post text itself, at the start. Not in the comments, and not only in the bio.
Live streams and webinarsSay it at the start, again whenever you share the link, and put it in the on-screen or chat text with the link.
Courses, communities, membership contentSame rules. Being behind a paywall or login does not change them.
Direct messages and one-to-one emailsSay it in the message, once, before the link.

Reviews

The FTC's rule on fake reviews (16 CFR Part 465) carries penalties per violation. So:

What you can say about Deepsel

Describe the product in your own words based on what you have seen. For prices, trial length, and offers, use only the lines below, and update within 7 days when we email you a change.

Do not say: "lifetime," "free forever," "price locked" (that launch offer ended on September 17, 2026), "guaranteed," any customer count, revenue, or retention figure we have not published, or claims about other software beyond what appears on our own comparison pages.

Your referral link looks like usedeepsel.com/?via=your-id and can point to any page on usedeepsel.com; you can make more links in your dashboard. Link shorteners and "pretty links" are fine as long as the disclosure sits next to them. There are no coupon codes to share; the extra free month (44 days free in total) is applied automatically when someone arrives through your link.

How we check

We look at each partner's live content at least once a quarter and keep a log. If a disclosure is missing or unclear, we email you with what to fix and give you 7 days. Commissions from that content are held until it is fixed. Repeated problems end your participation under section 13 of the Partner Program Agreement.
