Workiz pricing 2026: every plan, the last published prices, and the fees that show up after the demo

  • Workiz removed its prices from workiz.com in 2026. The dollar figures below come from Workiz's own pricing page as archived by the Wayback Machine (April 2024, May 2025, June 2026), from Workiz's help center, and from users on Reddit and Capterra. Each one is labeled and linked.
  • I build Deepsel, a maintenance-agreement tool that works beside Workiz. That's relevant to exactly one section of this page, and it's labeled.

Workiz pricing is quote-only as of September 2, 2026: Standard, Pro and Ultimate all say "Request pricing." The last rates Workiz published, in May 2025, were $225 to $325 a month for up to five users, with extra users at $55 to $65 each. The phone system, AI answering and card processing bill separately.1, 3

So the honest answer to "how much is Workiz" is a range plus a list of add-ons. Both are below, with a worked estimate for a 3-truck shop. If you sell maintenance agreements, read the service-plans section before the demo. That feature decides which tier you get quoted.

How much does Workiz cost in 2026?

Three plans, no prices. Here's what the pricing page lists under each on September 2, 2026. Standard and Pro include the first 5 users (Capterra and G2 both list them as 1-5 members); Ultimate is "the complete plan," and Workiz's own "most popular" badge sits on it.1, 12, 13

What did Workiz charge before it hid its prices?

This is the part no other Workiz pricing page shows you, because most of them copied the numbers from each other. I pulled Workiz's own pricing page from the Wayback Machine at three points and compared it with today's.2, 3, 4

Pricing page as of Plans and published prices (monthly / annual per month) Extra users
April 1, 2024 Lite free (2 members, 20 jobs a month) · Standard $225 / $198, 1-5 members · Ultimate $395 / $348, 1-5 members, with service plans. "Save 12%" on annual. Standard $45 / $40 · Ultimate $79 / $70

June 11, 2026 Standard, Pro, Ultimate: all "Request pricing." Standard and Pro "incl. first 5 users." No Lite, no Kickstart. Standard $55 · Pro $65 (annual payment)
September 2, 2026 Same three plans, all "Request pricing." Line removed from the page

In two years the entry price for a 5-user team went from $198 to $229 on annual billing, the free plan disappeared, and then the prices did. A two-person home-service startup on r/CRM, August 2026: "Workiz, however their price seems to be hidden."19 Review sites still quote $225-325 because that's the last number anyone saw.20 Treat it as the floor of your quote.

What does Workiz charge per user?

You get 5 users on Standard and Pro. Past that, the last published per-user rates were $55 a month on Standard and $65 on Pro, on annual payment, as of June 2026.4 A 3-truck shop with an owner and an office manager fits inside the five. A 4-truck shop with the same office does not, and user six is a $55-65 line item every month.

Two rules from Workiz's Billing FAQ decide what that seat really costs.5 "Removing users does not reduce the number of seats on your account or lower your price during your contract term." And: "If you increase your seat count, your billing will increase accordingly and remain at that level through the end of your contract, even if users are later removed." Seats ratchet up, then hold until renewal. A long-time user asked to drop from 10 accounts to 5 in late 2024 and "was still charged for 10 accounts for the next two months."17 At volume the rate bends: a 20-user shop reported paying $500 a month in 2024, $25 a seat.15 The seat count you sign for matters more than the sticker.

Does Workiz have a contract?

Yes, on every plan. From the Billing FAQ: "All Workiz plans are purchased on annual contracts, but payments may be made monthly or annually."5 Paying annually up front saves "$400+" per the pricing page FAQ, which matched the 17% discount on the 2025 prices.1, 3

The contract is the complaint I saw most. An HVAC owner, January 2023: "My biggest complaint with Workiz is annual plan requirement. Workiz and house call pro are functionally identical but Workiz has worse billing options."16 A CEO on Capterra, July 2024: "I asked to change to a monthly. They still charged me $3000+ for the yearly plan."12 One more from the FAQ: canceling the phone plan doesn't release your numbers, which "will continue to be billed until they are manually removed."5 Remove them the day you cancel.

What the add-ons cost: phone, texting, AI answering, payments

The pricing page lists Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing as "sold separately," with no price for any of them.1 Here is what's documented.

  • Phone system. About $100 a month, reviewer-reported.20 Usage on top: Workiz's own example is a 10-minute local call at $0.50 on demand, with toll-free calls at double.8
  • Texting. Billed by segment: 160 characters for one, 153 per segment after that, and one emoji drops every segment to 67 characters. Workiz's example: a 350-character message is 3 segments plain, 6 with an emoji.9 Keep emojis out of reminder templates.
  • Genius Answering (the AI receptionist). About $200 a month, reviewer-reported, on top of the phone plan it requires.20 An electrician who left in February 2026 said the "genius" features "would often just not work, to the point they credited me for a month of service."18 A 2-10 employee owner on Capterra, February 2025: "I have another AI agent for $9 per month that does far more."12
  • Workiz Pay. The card rate isn't on the pricing page. The help center documents 1% on bank transfers,6 1.75% (minimum $0.50) on top of processing for instant payouts,7 and a non-refundable $25 per customer dispute, win or lose.5 A third-party listing shows 2.69% + 30¢ per card transaction; I couldn't confirm it with Workiz.21 You can pass a service fee to the customer where your state allows it, but the same owner found the catch: "The only way to remove this fee is to completely disable card payment fees, which means you have to cover all transaction costs yourself."10, 12

The real total cost for a 3-truck shop (an estimate)

Because the base price is a quote, this is an estimate built from the last published prices and the reviewer-reported add-on figures above. Shop: 3 techs, an owner and an office manager (5 users, so no extra seats), about $15,000 a month collected by card.

Line item Monthly Where the number comes from
Standard subscription $229-275 Last published price, May 2025 (annual / monthly payment)3
Phone system ~$100 Reviewer-reported; not published20
Card processing ~$435 $15,000 at the third-party-listed 2.69% + 30¢ on ~100 invoices; rate not published21
Texting overage, toll-free minutes, disputes Varies Per segment, per minute, $25 per dispute5, 8, 9
Total before AI ~$765-810 Roughly $9,200-9,700 a year
Genius Answering, if you add it ~$200 Reviewer-reported; needs the phone plan20
Service plans, if you need them Ultimate quote No published price since 2024; see below

Processing is the biggest line, same as on every FSM. Shifting big-ticket jobs to 1% bank transfers is worth more than any plan discount. Note what's missing from the table: the subscription is the smallest fixed cost until you need Ultimate.

Which Workiz plan by truck count

  • 1-2 trucks: Standard, if you want Workiz at all. There's no solo tier now that Lite and Kickstart are gone, so you're paying a 5-user price for 2-3 users. A phone-heavy trade (locksmith, garage door, appliance repair) gets the most out of that.
  • 3-4 trucks: Standard fits 5 users exactly. Pro's Genius leads and scheduling matter if you're buying leads from Angi or Thumbtack; otherwise the 5 extra automations don't justify the step.
  • Selling maintenance agreements at any size: Ultimate is the only tier with service plans, and Workiz aims it at "multi-location larger team & franchises." Get the Ultimate and Standard quotes side by side.

Service plans are an Ultimate feature: what that means if you sell maintenance agreements

This is the part I have a product in, so weigh it accordingly.

Everything a maintenance-agreement program needs in Workiz sits on the top tier: service plans, equipment tracking, custom documents, the open API and Zapier.1 A pressure-washing owner who compared the field in May 2025 said it in one line: "Workiz is useless under the ultimate tier (no custom documents, API, Zapier, or service plans)."14 Ultimate has had no public price since Workiz reshuffled the lineup in 2025. The last time a service-plans tier carried a listed price was April 2024: $348 a month annual, $395 monthly, for 5 users.2

And once you're on Ultimate, know what the module does. Workiz's own help center calls Service Plans an add-on you enable from the Feature Center. When a client pays for a plan, Workiz drops the visits onto your schedule as placeholders, unassigned at 9 a.m. on weekdays, and "you will not be able to make changes or assign techs to these visits until after you convert them into jobs." The default automation texts the client 14 days before a visit so that "your client knows to contact you to book a specific time and day for the job."11 The billing runs itself. The booking still comes back to your office, one phone call per member per season, spring and fall.

Deepsel works beside Workiz on any tier, including Standard. There's no Workiz integration, and I'd rather say that plainly than imply one. You import your customer and agreement list from Workiz's export or your spreadsheet, and Deepsel keeps the agreement ledger: plan, tier, the equipment covered, visits owed vs delivered per unit, card on file, renewal date. It charges renewals on the card with retries and flags when a card fails. Each season it emails every member who's due (texts on Pro) with your Workiz online-booking link or your office number, and when they book, your office enters the visit in Workiz as a normal job. Nobody slips through the cracks because the ledger, not the schedule, is the record of who's owed a visit.

Pricing is flat: Starter $79 a month, Pro $159 a month (coming soon), unlimited users, 14-day free trial, no card, and no percentage of your membership revenue.22 Whatever Workiz quotes you for Standard, add $79 and put it next to the Ultimate quote. Full plan details are on our pricing page, and the module's limits are covered in more depth in Workiz service plans, explained.

Frequently asked questions

How much is Workiz per month?

As of September 2, 2026, no plan has a published price. The last prices on Workiz's own page, May 2025: Kickstart $225 (1-3 users), Standard $275 and Pro $325 (1-5 users), or $187, $229 and $270 on annual billing. Ultimate was quote-only then too.3 Expect a base quote in that range, then add phone, AI answering, extra users and card processing.

Is Workiz free?

Not any more. Workiz listed a free Lite plan through May 2025: up to 2 members, 20 jobs, invoices and estimates a month, no phone calling.3 On September 2, 2026 the pricing page shows no free tier, only a 7-day free trial with no credit card.1

How much does Workiz cost per user?

The first 5 users are included on Standard and Pro. In June 2026 the page listed extra members at $55 a month on Standard and $65 on Pro, annual payment; that line has since been removed, so get the per-user rate in writing.4 Added seats bill through the end of your contract term even if you remove the user.5

Does Workiz have a contract?

Yes. Every plan is an annual contract; you choose whether to pay monthly or annually up front.5 Annual saves "$400+" per Workiz, which was a 17% discount on the 2025 prices.1

What does Workiz charge for payments?

The card rate isn't published. Documented fees: 1% on bank transfers,6 1.75% (minimum $0.50) on top of processing for instant payouts,7 $25 per dispute,5 card readers sold separately.1 A third-party listing shows 2.69% + 30¢ per card transaction, unconfirmed.21

Which Workiz plan has service plans?

Ultimate, and only Ultimate, along with equipment tracking, the open API and Zapier.1 No public price since 2024. The tier's help docs and the placeholder-visit behavior are covered in Workiz service plans, explained.

Is Workiz worth it for a small HVAC or plumbing shop?

Shops running 3 to 8 techs call it simpler than ServiceTitan and strong on the phone side; a dispatcher at an 8-tech HVAC and appliance shop that left ServiceTitan's "$300+ per tech" said Workiz "fits better with our setup."16 The trade-offs are the price floor, the annual contract and the add-on stack. If maintenance agreements are a big part of your revenue, the service-plans gate decides your tier, or you run the agreements beside Workiz.

How does Workiz compare to Jobber and Housecall Pro on price?

On last published prices, Workiz's entry point was $225 a month for 1-3 users. Jobber Core is $29-49 for one user and Housecall Pro Basic is $59-79 for one user. At 5 users, Workiz Standard at $229-275 sits above Jobber Connect at $149-199 and Housecall Pro Essentials at $149-189. The built-in phone features are what you're paying the difference for. Full breakdowns: Jobber pricing and Housecall Pro pricing. On maintenance agreements, Jobber has no module, Housecall Pro gates its version to Max, and Workiz gates it to Ultimate; the whole field is compared in best HVAC maintenance agreement software.
