What's in each plan
Starter is the plan for replacing the spreadsheet. It holds the ledger, charges the cards and sends the seasonal reminder emails. Pro is the plan where the visits book themselves: reminder texts with a self-serve booking link, plus a sync with Jobber or Housecall Pro so the booked visit lands on your dispatch board without anyone re-keying it. Here's the full split.
| What you get | Starter ($79/mo) | Pro ($159/mo, coming soon) |
|---|---|---|
| Member ledger with visits owed vs. delivered, per covered unit | Yes | Yes |
| Customer and equipment records | Yes | Yes |
| Card-on-file auto-charge, with retries and failed-payment flags | Yes | Yes |
| Automated booking reminder emails each season | Yes | Yes |
| Automated booking reminder texts with a self-serve booking link | No | Yes |
| Customer and schedule sync with Jobber / Housecall Pro (booked visits written into your schedule) | No (spreadsheet import) | Yes |
| Configurable membership discounts | No | Yes |
| QuickBooks export | No | Yes |
| AI assistant | No | Yes |
| Parts warranty tracking | No | Yes |
| Users | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Agreements | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Support and onboarding | Import tools and onboarding help, email support | Import tools and onboarding help, email support |
| Billing | Month to month, or $790/yr (2 months free) | Month to month, or $1,590/yr (2 months free) |
Neither plan is a field service platform. Dispatch, quoting and invoicing stay in Jobber, Housecall Pro or whatever you run today. If you want the longer version of what the ledger does and why, it's on the HVAC maintenance agreement software page.
What you'd pay instead
I keep a list of what the other ways of running an agreement program cost, because it's the only fair way to judge $79. Every number below comes from the vendor's own pricing page or from a contractor quoting their invoice, checked in August 2026. (The full comparison by shop size is on the best HVAC maintenance agreement software page.)
| Option | What it costs | What it does for agreements | Where it stops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Housecall Pro Max | $299/mo annual, $329/mo monthly. About $150/mo more than Essentials ($149), which is the price of unlocking Service Plans4 | Recurring plan billing and a list of visits to schedule | Completed member visits produce $0.00 invoices with no link to the plan payment.6 Billing frequency and the saved card freeze once a plan is active.5 The visits list is worked by hand |
| ServiceTitan | $250-500 per technician per month, plus migration fees7 | A full membership module that works | Contractors running it say don't switch until you have four vans and 300-500 agreements8 |
| A spreadsheet | $0 in software. $10-15 per agreement per year in office time, so $250-375/mo at 300 agreements3 | Whatever your office manager has time to update | Renewals you have to ask for convert at 40-50%1 |
| Deepsel | $79/mo Starter, $159/mo Pro. Unlimited users and agreements | Ledger, card-on-file billing, seasonal reminders. Pro adds texts, FSM sync and QuickBooks export | It isn't an FSM. Dispatch and invoicing stay where they are |
The Housecall Pro line is the one I point to most. HCP prices its membership module at about $150 a month, the jump from Essentials to Max, and the shops on that tier still keep a spreadsheet beside it because the visits dashboard is a to-do list. Deepsel is $79. It exists for one job, and the shop stays on Essentials. If you're pricing the FSM side of the stack too, the full tier-by-tier numbers are in the Housecall Pro pricing breakdown and the Jobber pricing breakdown.
The spreadsheet is the honest floor. If keeping a list of renewal dates is your whole problem, it solves it and I'd tell you so. I even built you one: the free tracking spreadsheet uses the same layout our import expects, so nothing you type into it is wasted. The gap between a sheet and $79 is the card on file, the retries when a card fails, and the ledger that knows which visits you still owe. Those are the parts that move the renewal number.
And it's free right up until you count the hours. At $10 to $15 per agreement per year, a 300-agreement book costs more in office time than Pro does in software. Most of that time goes to the same three tasks every season: chasing renewals, calling members to book visits they already paid for, and checking whether a caller has an active plan. (If you want to keep the sheet a while longer anyway, I laid out the exact columns in how to track HVAC maintenance agreements.)
The math on 300 agreements
Take a shop with 300 agreements at $225 a year. Renewals the office has to ask for convert at 40-50%.1 Renewals charged to a card on file convert at 80% and up, and the best operators clear 90-95% on monthly auto-billing.2 Call the swing 30 points.
Thirty points on 300 agreements is 90 more renewals a year. At $225 each, that's about $20,000. That's before you count the repair and replacement leads those 90 extra tune-up visits throw off, and before you count the office hours that stop going to renewal calls.
Starter costs $948 a year. Pro costs $1,908. I'm comfortable with that ratio, and the trial lets you check it against your own list before you pay anything.

Is it priced per user or per agreement?
Neither. It's one flat monthly price per shop. Add your office manager, your techs and your bookkeeper and the bill doesn't move. Agreement count doesn't change it either, on Starter or on Pro. A shop with 40 plans and a shop with 400 pay the same.
Do you take a percentage of membership revenue?
No. Your members' payments are yours. Payments are handled by Stripe, and card processing fees are Stripe's standard rate, charged separately from the subscription. Deepsel never adds a platform fee on top of a member charge.
What happens if I cancel?
You stop paying at the end of the current billing period and that's it. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Your agreement list, equipment records and visit history export as a spreadsheet, so you leave with a better version of the sheet you came in with.
Does it work with Jobber or Housecall Pro?
Yes, beside them. Jobber or Housecall Pro stays your system for customers, quotes, dispatch and invoicing. Deepsel keeps the agreement ledger, the billing and the reminders. On Pro, customers sync in and booked visits are written into your schedule as normal jobs. On Starter, you run the ledger next to your FSM and import your customer list as a spreadsheet.
What does the free trial include?
Fourteen days of the full Starter plan, no card required. Import tools and onboarding help are included, so you can upload your current spreadsheet on day one and see which renewals and visits are at risk before the first reminder goes out. If it isn't for you, you walk away and owe nothing.
When is Pro available, and what happens if I start on Starter?
Pro is coming soon. Start on Starter now, and the Pro features (reminder texts, Jobber and Housecall Pro sync, membership discounts, QuickBooks export, the AI assistant, parts warranty tracking) switch on for your account when they're released, if you choose to upgrade. Sign up before beta ends on September 17 and the prices on this page are locked in for you for as long as you stay.
