FieldPulse pricing 2026: quote-only seats, a one-year contract, and what shops actually pay

  • FieldPulse publishes no dollar figures. Every number below is labeled as either FieldPulse's own words (pricing page, terms of service, help center) or a third-party estimate with its source and date. FieldPulse's position is that no third-party figure is accurate, and I've quoted that too.
  • I build Deepsel, a maintenance-agreement tool that works beside FieldPulse. That's relevant to exactly one section of this page, and it's labeled.

FieldPulse pricing is quote-only as of September 2, 2026. No dollar figure appears anywhere on fieldpulse.com. You buy seats (full-access for the office, cheaper field-only for techs) in one of three packages, Essentials, Professional or Enterprise, on a one-year contract that auto-renews. Third-party estimates run $40 to $130 per user per month. FieldPulse says none of them are verified.

So this page can't give you the number. It can show you what the quote is built from, what the contract commits you to, why the estimate sites disagree, and what customers say they pay. Read it before the demo.

Does FieldPulse publish its prices?

No. The pricing page lists three packages and puts a Request Pricing button under each one. The page's own framing: "FieldPulse is seat-based and pricing is built around what your team needs. Get a custom quote in one conversation."1

It also addresses the estimate sites directly. Under "Is the pricing listed on third-party review sites accurate?" the answer is: "No. Several sites publish estimated FieldPulse pricing that hasn't been verified by us."1 There's no free trial either: "No, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we offer instead is a real demo built around your specific trade, team size, and workflows."1 Capterra and G2 both list the trial as not available.8 Review sites still promising a 14-day trial are out of date.9

For contrast, the two platforms FieldPulse most often gets compared with publish every tier: Jobber runs $29 to $529 a month (Jobber pricing breakdown) and Housecall Pro $59 to $329 (Housecall Pro pricing). An electrician who'd just left ServiceTitan, June 2026: "Housecall Pro and Jobber both post their pricing publicly and are nowhere near the workflow straitjacket ST is; FieldPulse if you want flat-rate price book stuff."11

The three FieldPulse packages and what each includes

This is everything the pricing page discloses per package, as of September 2, 2026. Ticks are FieldPulse's own feature lists.1

What the pricing page lists Essentials Professional Enterprise
Price Request pricing Request pricing Talk to our team
Customer management, scheduling and dispatching, work orders, estimates and invoices, mobile app, workflow automation Yes Yes Yes
Project management No Yes Yes
QuickBooks sync No Yes Yes
Multi-location management No No Yes
Open API No No Yes
Maintenance Agreements Not listed in any package column. The help center's only prerequisite is that the feature is "enabled in your account."6 Ask on the demo (more below).
Premium products (priced separately) Engage phone system, Operator AI, Chat AI, Pricebook, FieldPulse Payments, FieldPulse Financing, Fleet Tracking, Custom Forms, Dynamic Proposals

Two things stand out. QuickBooks sync starts at Professional, so a shop that runs its books in QBO (most of the shops I talk to) is choosing between Professional and Enterprise. And the premium-products row is long. FieldPulse calls those optional, with pricing that "varies; some are flat-rate, some are consumption-based, and others are seat-based."1 More on what that does to the total below.

How FieldPulse bills: seats, contract, renewal

Seats. From the pricing FAQ: "You purchase a set number of seats upfront for your contract term, and the rate depends on what each seat needs access to."1 Full-access seats cover the whole platform. Field-only seats are for techs who live in the mobile app: assigned jobs, notes, files, clock in and out. The seat mix is the main lever on your quote, so count office logins and truck logins separately before the call.

Contract. The terms of service set the initial term at one year, auto-renewing for another year unless you give 60 days' written notice, and "Fees may be increased for any Renewal Term upon sixty (60) days written notice."2 You owe the whole term: "A customer is obligated to pay the contract value for the entire term of the contract," and "If you cancel your account at any time, you will not receive any refund."2 The help center's cancellation policy removes any doubt about a monthly option: "all customers who signed up after November 2023 are on an annual contract. Please note that we have not offered subscription-based models since that time."3

Adding users mid-term. You can add seats any time.1 The terms spell out the billing: "Additional users above what is listed on your order form will be charged for the one-year term upfront through Stripe at the time the user is added."2 So the sixth seat you add in month three is a lump sum for the rest of the year, not a new monthly line.

Implementation. You're "invoiced upon your acceptance of the subscription for your initial term and implementation," due within 15 days.2 No implementation price is published. Included at no extra cost: the weekly "Foundations in the Field" training sessions.7 All fees are in USD, before sales tax.2

What FieldPulse costs in practice: the estimates, and why they disagree

Eight review and comparison sites publish a FieldPulse number. None of them got it from FieldPulse, and they don't agree with each other:9, 10

Source (date) Their estimate Model
Tooled Up Pro (Feb 2026) ~$99/mo for 1-3 users, ~$199/mo for 7-10, ~$399/mo for 10+ Flat, by team size
ServiceAgent (Aug 2026) ~$65 / $90 / $115 per user per month for Essentials / Professional / Enterprise, plus $500-5,000 onboarding Per user
Softabase (2026) $65 / $90 / $115 per user per month by tier Per user
Contractor Software Hub (May 2026) $89-100 per user per month for Essentials Per user
FieldCamp (2026) ~$89/mo base plus ~$30 per user Base fee plus per user
Fieldproxy (Nov 2025) ~$99 per user per month on the base plan Per user
Field Service Software (2026) $70-130 per user per month Per user
ServiceMag (2026) $40-75 per user per month Per user

Why the spread? Nobody has a price list, so each site works from a handful of reader-reported quotes, the two seat types get averaged differently, and some of the pages are written by competitors. Two of the sites above also claim a 14-day trial and "more transparent" pricing, both of which FieldPulse's own page contradicts,1, 10 so weight their dollar figures accordingly.

Capterra reviewers, who did get a quote, describe the shape better than the number. A director of business operations, four years on the platform, June 2026: "They have a base fee and a per-user fee, which can quickly add up if you have multiple users, as we do. This can become challenging for a small business."8 An operations manager who switched in February 2026: "I like the value for money its less than service titan but more than all others."8 That's the consistent placement: above Jobber and Housecall Pro, well below ServiceTitan (whose real bill is on the ServiceTitan pricing page).

Whether that feels fair depends on seat count. An owner running a two-person shop, April 2026: "Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth the expense? Absolutely."8 An owner doing HVAC, electrical and plumbing, March 2026: "I love the cost per month."8 Against that, an electrical contractor, same month, three stars: "I find this CRM more expensive than competing companies," and "I will be changing service once my contract is up."8

The fees that don't show on the pricing page

FieldPulse's FAQ says there are no hidden fees, and in the narrow sense that's true: "What you're quoted is what you pay."1 The catch is what the quote leaves out. These are the lines that can appear on a FieldPulse bill beyond the seats:

  • Add-ons. Operator AI, Chat AI, Engage VoIP, Fleet Tracking, Pricebook, Dynamic Proposals and Custom Forms are priced separately, on a mix of flat, consumption and per-seat pricing.1 The list moves: in a 2023 Reddit reply a FieldPulse rep wrote "Custom forms are included in the base price,"11 and in 2026 Custom Forms is an add-on. A plumbing company owner, August 2026: "There are lots of add-ons, which is nice, but it gets really pricey if I was to truly want everything that I think I need."8
  • Engage, the phone system. "Line and license-based pricing. Ask our team for details."1 A two-star reviewer, chief growth officer at a construction company, March 2026: "They lock you into the basic plan and then nickel-and-dime you for functionality that should be standard. One example - unless you pay for their Engage phone plan, you can't even see customer replies to text messages sent through the FieldPulse platform."8 If two-way texting matters to you, price Engage into the quote from day one.
  • Fleet tracking. Third-party estimates put GPS at about $30 per vehicle per month.9, 10 Unverified.
  • FieldPulse Payments. The help center: "There is a processing fee for debit/credit cards and ACH payments, as well as a monthly cost. Chat with our team to learn more."4 The merchant application "does require a credit check."5 Next-day funding on cards and validated ACH is available on request (standard is 2 business days for cards, 4 for ACH),4 and Card Fee Recovery raises every line item by a rate "typically 3%" so the customer can choose a lower ACH or cash price. It applies automatically to payments you take in person or by phone, with no way to switch it off at the point of payment.5
  • Timesheets to QuickBooks. Two 2026 reviewers flag that pushing tech hours into QuickBooks needs the QuickBooks Time add-on, "an add on that we are not willing to pay for at this time."8
  • Implementation. Invoiced with the initial term, amount unpublished.2 ServiceAgent's estimate is $500-5,000 depending on size and data migration.10

Worked example: a 3-truck HVAC shop (estimate)

I can't do the exact math the way I can for Housecall Pro or Jobber, because the inputs are private. I can build the bracket a 3-truck shop should walk into the demo with: owner and office manager on full-access seats, three techs on field-only seats, QuickBooks Online for the books (so, Professional), about $15,000 a month collected by card.

Line item Estimate, per month Basis
2 full-access seats, Professional ~$130-200 $65-100 per user, the cluster of third-party estimates9, 10
3 field-only seats ~$100-200 FieldPulse says field seats are "priced accordingly" lower;1 no source has a figure, so this assumes half to two-thirds of a full seat
Engage phones, if you want texting replies in the app Unpublished "Line and license-based pricing"1
Card processing on $15,000/mo Unpublished rate plus a monthly fee Help center4; at a typical 2.9% it would be about $435, or $0 if you turn on the 3% card fee recovery5
Implementation, one time Unpublished Invoiced with the first term2; third-party estimate $500-5,00010
Seats only, before add-ons and processing ~$230-400 a month, ~$2,800-4,800 a year, committed for 12 months Estimate. Get it in writing.

Same shop on the published competitors: Jobber Connect at $149 a month for up to five users on annual billing, or Housecall Pro Essentials at $149 a month for five users, both cancellable monthly at a higher rate. So FieldPulse's seats likely cost 1.5 to 2.5 times the equivalent published plan, and you sign for a year. Reviewers who call that a good trade point at the workflow customization, the flat-rate pricebook, and support, the most praised thing in every review set I read.8 A construction owner who left ServiceTitan in May 2026 gave the other side of the ledger: "Pricing got way out of hand. And more and more useful functionality was only available as add-on Pro products."8 Next to that, FieldPulse's add-on list is short.

Which package by truck count

  • 1 truck, owner-operator. Essentials covers scheduling, estimates, invoices and the mobile app, but has no QuickBooks sync. If you use QBO, you're on Professional from day one. At this size the one-year contract is the bigger question than the package; Jobber Core at $29 a month with no commitment does the same paperwork.
  • 2-4 trucks. Professional, with the office on full-access seats and techs on field-only seats. This is the size FieldPulse's own reviewers most often describe as a good fit, and the size where the per-seat model still adds up to a few hundred dollars rather than a thousand.
  • Multi-location, or you need the API. Enterprise. Multi-location management and the open API sit only there.1

Questions to ask on the demo

Because the quote is the only price, the call is where the money gets decided. Get written answers to these before you sign the order form:

  1. The rate for a full-access seat and the rate for a field-only seat, separately, and whether either has a minimum count.
  2. The implementation fee, and what data migration it includes.
  3. Which of the premium products you'd need for your workflow (texting replies means Engage; flat-rate books means Pricebook), with each one's price and its pricing model.
  4. FieldPulse Payments: the card rate, the ACH rate, and the monthly fee.
  5. Whether Maintenance Agreements is enabled on the package you're being quoted, at no extra charge, in writing.
  6. What the renewal-rate policy is. The terms allow increases with 60 days' notice;2 ask whether year two is locked.

The maintenance-agreements angle

This is the part I have a product in, so weigh it accordingly.

FieldPulse has a real Maintenance Agreements module, which is more than Jobber can say. It attaches a contract to a customer and their equipment, can run recurring billing against a card on file, emails a reminder before each visit, and can auto-create the year's visits as jobs.6 Those jobs land unscheduled by design ("allowing you to decide when they fit best into your schedule"),6 so the office still books every spring and fall visit by hand, and nothing in the docs tracks visits owed vs. delivered per unit or warns you before a paid visit expires. What the module does and where a spreadsheet still shows up is on the FieldPulse maintenance agreements page. Packaging is unpublished: the pricing page puts the module in no package column, and one HVAC owner said in December 2025 that "maintenance contracts" came with his account "at no additional charge which for me was huge,"11 so ask.

Deepsel works beside FieldPulse and owns only the agreement side. There's no FieldPulse integration, and I'd rather say that plainly than imply one. You import your customer and agreement list from a FieldPulse export or the spreadsheet you're running today. Deepsel keeps the ledger (plan, tier, equipment, visits owed vs. delivered, card on file, renewal date), charges renewals with retries and a flag when a card fails, and each season emails every member who's due a reminder carrying your booking link or phone number (texts on Pro). Your office enters booked visits in FieldPulse as normal jobs, the way it does now. Deepsel is a flat $79 a month on Starter with unlimited users, no contract, and no percentage of your membership revenue (plans). I can't price the FieldPulse-plus-Deepsel stack, because half of it is FieldPulse's private quote. The Deepsel half is published.

Frequently asked questions

How much is FieldPulse per month?

FieldPulse doesn't publish one. As of September 2, 2026 the pricing page shows Essentials, Professional and Enterprise with a Request Pricing button on each.1 Third-party sites estimate $40-130 per user per month, or about $99-399 a month by team size; FieldPulse says none of those figures were verified by them.1, 9, 10 The only reliable number is the written quote from a demo.

How much does FieldPulse cost per user?

Two seat types at two undisclosed rates: full-access seats for the office, cheaper field-only seats for techs.1 Seats are bought up front for the contract term, and users added later are charged for the rest of the year up front.2 Third-party estimates for a full-access seat cluster between $65 and $100 per user per month.10

Does FieldPulse have a free plan or a free trial?

No to both. In FieldPulse's words: "No, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we offer instead is a real demo built around your specific trade, team size, and workflows."1 Capterra and G2 list the trial as not available.8

Does FieldPulse require a contract?

Yes. One-year initial term, auto-renewing for a year unless you give 60 days' written notice; fees can rise at renewal; you owe the full contract value; cancelled accounts get no refund.2 Every customer who signed up after November 2023 is on an annual contract.3

What does FieldPulse charge for payment processing?

A per-transaction fee on cards and ACH plus a monthly fee; the rates aren't published.4 The application includes a credit check, next-day funding is available on request, and Card Fee Recovery can add a surcharge, typically 3%.4, 5 A Canadian plumber in February 2026 reported "an unsustainable $1,500 transaction limit on CardConnect," so if you take big-ticket card payments, ask about limits.8

Which FieldPulse package includes maintenance agreements?

Packaging is unpublished. The pricing page lists Maintenance Agreements in no package column,1 the help center's only prerequisite is that the feature is "enabled in your account,"6 and one HVAC owner said in December 2025 that it came at no additional charge.11 Get it on the order form. What the module does is on the FieldPulse maintenance agreements page.

Is FieldPulse worth it for a small shop?

Reviewers who stay place it above Jobber and Housecall Pro on price and well below ServiceTitan, and stay for the workflow customization, the flat-rate pricebook and the support.8 Two- and three-seat shops tend to be happy with the monthly cost; shops with many users or many add-ons are the ones calling it expensive. Weigh the one-year contract and the add-ons against the published options; the wider comparison is in the best HVAC maintenance agreement software roundup.

How does FieldPulse pricing compare to Jobber and Housecall Pro?

Jobber and Housecall Pro publish every tier and sell month to month; FieldPulse quotes privately on a one-year contract. On the estimates, a five-seat FieldPulse account runs roughly $230-500 a month before add-ons, against $149 a month for Jobber Connect (up to 5 users, annual) and $149 for Housecall Pro Essentials (5 users, annual). FieldPulse's case is depth and support, and its own reviewers say so.
