JobNimbus pricing 2026: what the four tiers include, what roofers say they pay, and the fees the quote leaves out
- JobNimbus doesn't publish dollar prices. Every number below is labeled as one of three things: what JobNimbus itself publishes (tier limits, processing fees, terms), what roofers report being quoted, or a third-party estimate with its date. Treat the last two as a range, not a rate card.
- I build Deepsel, a maintenance-agreement tool for service contractors. It's relevant to one short section near the end, and that section is labeled. The rest is JobNimbus's own documentation and its users.
JobNimbus pricing is quote-only as of September 2, 2026. The pricing page lists four tiers sized by user count (Essentials up to 3, Pro up to 10, Premium up to 19, Enterprise 20 and up) with no dollar figures. Roofers report quotes near $300 a month for a small team; third-party breakdowns put a five-user shop around $620 a month with texting. Card processing is 3.2% plus 29 cents.
That's the short answer. The longer one is about what the quote will and won't include: seats priced by role, a texting add-on sold on credits, a 14-day cancellation notice, and payment fees that dwarf the subscription the first time a $12,000 roof gets paid by card. Here's all of it, with the vendor's own words where it has them.
What the four JobNimbus plans include
JobNimbus reorganized its plans in 2026. The tier names that circulated on comparison blogs through 2025 (Growing and Established) are gone from the pricing page; what's there now is four tiers that differ mostly by how many users, boards, automations and integrations you get.1 Everything below is straight off that page.
| Essentials | Pro | Premium | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Users included | Up to 3 | Up to 10 | Up to 19 | 20 or more |
| Price | Request pricing | Request pricing | Request pricing | Contact sales |
| Project boards | 3 | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Active automations | 10 | 30 | 100 | Unlimited |
| Integrations | Max 2 | Max 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Multi-location | Not supported | Up to 2 | Up to 5 | Unlimited |
| Contacts, estimates, invoices, payments, financing, QuickBooks, API and webhooks, mobile app | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Implementation | Standard | Standard | Premium | Premium |
| Support | Standard | Standard | Technical account manager, faster response times, SLAs | Technical account manager, enterprise-grade support |
| Professional services | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on | Contact sales |
Two things stand out. First, the money features (invoices, JobNimbus Payments, financing, QuickBooks sync, the API) are on every tier, including Essentials. That's different from Jobber and Housecall Pro, which hold QuickBooks sync back from their entry plans. Second, the ceilings that push you up a tier are automations and integrations, not features. Ten active automations and two integrations is a tight box for a shop that wants QuickBooks, EagleView, CompanyCam and a text reminder, so budget for Pro even if you have three users.1
Asked why no prices are listed, the page says: "Because contracting businesses aren't one-size-fits-all. Teams vary by size, workflow, integrations, and support needs, and your quote should match your setup."1 Fair enough. It also means you can't comparison-shop from the truck, and the quote you get depends on term length and how the rep sizes you.
How JobNimbus bills: tiers by user count, seats by role
The pricing page sizes each tier by users, and the help center explains the second layer: inside your tier, you buy seats per role. "The number of seats you purchase for a role indicates how many unique users will be given that level of access."3 The pricing page's own FAQ still describes it as "an account-based price for the CRM" plus "role-specific… pricing for Admin, Sales, and Field team members."1 So the number you're quoted is a platform fee plus a per-seat fee that varies by whether the person is an owner, a salesperson, a field lead or a sub.
Three billing rules from the help center and the terms worth knowing before you sign:3, 4, 6
- Deactivating a user doesn't stop the seat charge. "Deactivating a team member does not automatically reduce the number of seats for which you are paying. You will need to contact your Customer Account Executive to remove seats… No refunds or credits will be provided if you fail to decrease the number of seats at any point during the billing cycle."3 A reviewer flagged the same thing back in 2017: "If you lower your users you have to change the subscription separately."12
- Cancelling and downgrading go through a person. For accounts created from March 2026 onward, "to cancel or downgrade your JobNimbus Subscription, please contact your Customer Account Executive."4 Older accounts cancel from the subscription page, then either schedule a call or submit a form explaining why.4
- Auto-renew, 14 days' notice, no refunds. The terms say subscriptions "will automatically renew… at the then-current rates," that "all cancellations require a 14-day notice prior to cancellation taking effect," and that payments "are nonrefundable, and there are no credits for partially used periods." You keep access to the end of what you paid for.6
On the plus side, the pricing page is explicit that there's no long-term contract ("we offer monthly or annual agreements") and no required setup fee: "there are no required setup or onboarding fees. All plans include implementation guidance and ongoing support." Paid Professional Services exist for data migration and custom workflow builds, and they're optional.1 If your card fails, the system retries daily for three days and then suspends (not cancels) the account until you fix the payment method.4
The fees that don't show on the pricing page
These are the lines that turn a $300 quote into a $600 bill. All of them are documented by JobNimbus except the Engage monthly price, which is quote-only and estimated.
| Line item | Amount | Where it's stated |
|---|---|---|
| Card processing (JobNimbus Payments) | 3.2% + $0.29 per transaction | Help center fee schedule; "some customers may have different processing rates than the starting rates"2 |
| ACH / eCheck | 1%, capped at $50 per transaction | Help center fee schedule2 |
| Payments boarding fee | $20 one-time, taken from the first payout | Help center fee schedule2 |
| Refund or void | $0.05 each ($0.15 for an eCheck refund) | Help center fee schedule2 |
| Bounced eCheck | $2.50 | Help center fee schedule2 |
| Chargeback / retrieval / arbitration | $15 / $15 / $10 | Help center fee schedule2 |
| Legacy Global Payments integration | 2.9% + $0.29 surcharge | Help center; surcharges over 3% on Visa can't be passed to the customer2 |
| Engage (texting) monthly plan | Quote-only. Estimates: $49 / $149 / $249 per month | Third-party breakdowns, December 2025 and March 20267, 8 |
| Engage credits | 200 / 2,000 / 10,000 included per cycle; extra credits $0.05 or $0.03 each; 1 credit = 160 characters; photos 1 credit | Help center; included credits expire at the end of each billing cycle5 |
| Marketing Bundle | Quote-only | Pricing page add-ons; managed websites, SEO and ads, or the built-in system (beta)1 |
| Professional Services (migration, custom workflows) | Quote-only, optional | Pricing page FAQ1 |
Two notes on Engage. The credits are the trap: an emoji drops each segment's allowance from 160 to 70 characters, so a friendly 200-character "on our way 👍" text costs three credits, not two.5 And the carrier registration that every US texting platform now requires "may take 5 days to 3 weeks," so don't buy Engage the week you need it.5 Engage is available in the US and Canada only.
What roofers say they pay: JobNimbus pricing on Reddit and review sites
With no rate card, the best evidence is people posting their quotes. A roofing startup owner sizing up for "maybe one office employee and 2-5 sales guys" wrote on r/Roofing in February 2026:10
"Roofr quoted me $350 and JobNimbus $300 with a major discount if I paid a year up front and 50% off for 90 days if I did month to month."
That's the most recent first-hand number I found, and it lines up with the shape of the third-party estimates: a base platform fee in the low hundreds, then seats. A JobNimbus employee replying in the same thread in June 2026 said the quiet part plainly: "Beyond the subscription line, ask any vendor about per-user scaling, what integrations cost extra, and what implementation actually looks like in week one versus week eight. The sticker price is rarely the whole number."10 Another roofer, in a June 2026 thread: "AccuLynx and JobNimbus are the big all-in-ones and priced like it once you add seats."11
The third-party breakdowns, for what they're worth, describe the pre-2026 plan structure. Projul (December 2025) lists a $225/month Growing plan and a $550/month Established plan, with per-seat fees of $75 for an admin, $55 for sales or office staff, $30 for a field tech and $20 for a subcontractor, and works a five-person shop out to $619 a month with mid-tier texting.7 Toricent Labs (March 2026) lands in the same place: $225 or $550 base, $20 to $75 per user by role, $624 a month for five users with texting.8 Both are written by competitors, and both predate the Essentials/Pro/Premium relabel, so read them as "the order of magnitude," which is how QuoteIQ's own write-up puts it: "any dollar figure you find on a third-party blog is an estimate rather than a quoted price, and those estimates disagree with one another."9 Capterra's pricing tab lists a starting price of $300 per month.12
Reviewers mostly land on "fair for what it does, watch the add-ons." A sales manager at a construction company (1-2 years on the product, March 2023): "It's also very affordable at that… It had a lower buy-in cost."12 A GM who switched from AccuLynx in 2023: "It is a cost decision. The company was looking to save money."12 And the other side, from a commercial vice president two-plus years in (April 2024): "When we first started with JobNimbus it was do to an ok product at a great price. Now many years later and a few price increases all they seem to want to do is integrate," with custom documents needing "an integration costing you more money per month."12 A trial user in November 2024 put it shortest: "you have to pay for many other services to really get the most out of the program."12
The real total cost: a 3-person office plus 2 crews (estimate)
Here's the math for a typical small roofing company: an owner, an office manager and a salesperson, plus two crew leads who need the app. Five seats, which lands in the Pro tier's 10-user ceiling.1 Say the company does $1.2 million a year, and about a third of that gets paid by card (the rest by check, ACH or financing). Everything in the subscription rows is an estimate; the processing rows are JobNimbus's published rates.
| Line item | Per month | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription, 5 seats | $300 to $470 (estimate) | Low end: the $300 startup quote from February 2026. High end: $225 base plus five role-priced seats per the December 2025 breakdown7, 10 |
| Engage texting, mid tier | $149 (estimate) | Third-party figure; JobNimbus sells it quote-only7, 8 |
| Card processing | ~$1,060 | $33,000/month by card × 3.2% + $0.29 on ~12 payments2 |
| ACH processing | ~$250 | $40,000/month by eCheck, 1% capped at $50; most roof-sized payments hit the cap2 |
| Measurement, photo and other integrations | Separate subscriptions | EagleView, CompanyCam and similar bill you directly; Pro allows 5 integrations1, 7 |
| Total, before integrations | ~$1,760 to $1,930 | ~$21,000 to $23,000 a year, and processing is roughly 70% of it |
Look at where the money is. On one $12,000 roof, a card payment costs $384.29 in fees and an eCheck costs $50.2 Steering half your card volume to ACH saves this shop about $400 a month, close to the entire seat bill. If you're going to negotiate anything with JobNimbus, negotiate the processing rate; the help center admits it varies by customer.2 The subscription quote matters less than the term you sign it on, and the pricing page itself says annual and monthly agreements are both available.1
Which JobNimbus plan by company size
- Solo or two people, no office: Essentials fits the user count, and you get Payments, financing and QuickBooks on day one. You'll hit the two-integration cap the moment you want a measurement tool and CompanyCam, so ask the rep what the jump to Pro costs before you sign.
- 3 to 10 seats (most small roofing companies): Pro. Five integrations and 30 automations cover appointment reminders, estimate follow-ups, review requests and a couple of status notifications. This is where the $300 to $600-plus estimates above apply.
- Two locations or a production team of 10-plus: Premium, mostly for unlimited integrations, 100 automations and the technical account manager. Ask about the SLA in writing.
- Comparing with the service-trade FSMs: Jobber and Housecall Pro publish their prices, which makes them easy to benchmark: Jobber Connect is $99 to $299 a month billed annually depending on team band, and Housecall Pro Essentials is $149 a month for five users. Both are built for repeat-service trades. JobNimbus is built for project-shaped roofing and restoration work, and priced by seat behind a quote. Full breakdowns: Jobber pricing and Housecall Pro pricing.
Does JobNimbus handle roof maintenance agreements or inspection plans?
This is the part I have a product in, so weigh it accordingly. The short answer is no. JobNimbus is a project CRM: lead, inspection, estimate, claim, build, invoice. It has no membership, service-plan or recurring-job object, and the help center is direct about the closest thing: "Recurring tasks can not be created in JobNimbus, but they can be created with the use of the Google Calendar integration," by syncing a task to Google, setting it to repeat there, and letting it sync back, within a 365-day window.13 I searched the help center and the feature pages for "recurring," "maintenance plan," "membership" and "annual inspection" on September 2, 2026 and found nothing else.
That matters for a growing number of roofers who sell an annual roof maintenance or inspection plan: a fall gutter clean and flashing check, a spring storm inspection, sealant on the penetrations, photos on file for the insurance claim that comes later. It's the same recurring-revenue idea HVAC shops have run for decades, and it's what keeps a crew busy between storms. Today those plans live in a spreadsheet next to JobNimbus, with a calendar reminder for the renewal, and they slip through the cracks the same way they do in every trade: a visit owed that nobody scheduled, a card that expired, a renewal date that came and went.
Deepsel runs the plan beside JobNimbus. I built it for HVAC, plumbing and electrical agreements, and it fits any contractor selling a plan with a fixed number of visits a year. There's no JobNimbus integration: you import your customer list from a JobNimbus export or a spreadsheet, and Deepsel keeps the agreement record (plan, covered property, visits owed vs delivered, card on file, renewal date), charges renewals with retries and a failed-payment flag, and each season emails every member who's due (texts on Pro) with your booking link or phone number. The office enters the booked inspection in JobNimbus as a normal job, so your boards and photos work the way they do now. Starter is $79 a month with unlimited users, Pro is $159 (coming soon), there's a 14-day free trial with no card, and we don't take a percentage of your plan revenue; details are on the pricing page. If you'd rather keep the spreadsheet for now, ours is free and already has the visits-owed and renewal columns.
14-day free trial. No credit card required.Frequently asked questions
How much is JobNimbus per month?
JobNimbus doesn't publish a price. As of September 2, 2026 its pricing page lists four tiers sized by user count and every one ends in a request-pricing form.1 A roofing startup quoted in February 2026 reported $300 a month with a discount for paying a year up front.10 Third-party breakdowns from late 2025 and early 2026 put a five-user shop at about $620 a month once texting is added.7, 8
Does JobNimbus charge per user?
Yes, in two layers. Each tier has a user ceiling (Essentials 3, Pro 10, Premium 19, Enterprise 20 or more), and inside the tier you buy seats by role.1, 3 JobNimbus's help center says deactivating a team member does not reduce the seats you pay for; you contact your account executive to remove them, and no refunds or credits are given if you don't.3
Does JobNimbus have a free trial?
Yes. JobNimbus offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.1 The terms note that if you're told your trial will convert to a paid subscription and you don't cancel by the last day, your billing method is charged. Trial data isn't kept if you walk away.6
Does JobNimbus require a contract?
No long-term contract is required; JobNimbus offers monthly or annual agreements.1 Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current rate, all cancellations require 14 days' notice, and payments are nonrefundable with no credit for partly used periods.6 Accounts created from March 2026 on cancel or downgrade by contacting a Customer Account Executive rather than from a settings page.4
What does JobNimbus Payments charge?
Cards cost 3.2% plus 29 cents per transaction. ACH (eCheck) costs 1%, capped at $50 per transaction. There's a one-time $20 boarding fee taken from your first payout, 5 cents per refund or void, $2.50 per bounced eCheck, and $15 per chargeback or retrieval.2 JobNimbus notes some customers pay different rates than the starting rates.
What does JobNimbus Engage cost?
JobNimbus doesn't publish Engage's monthly price. Its help center says plans include 200, 2,000 or 10,000 texting credits per billing cycle, unused credits expire, and extra credits cost 5 or 3 cents each depending on plan.5 Third-party breakdowns from December 2025 and March 2026 list Engage at $49, $149 and $249 a month.7, 8 Carrier registration takes 5 days to 3 weeks.5
Is JobNimbus worth it for a small roofing company, and how does it compare with Jobber or Housecall Pro on price?
For a roofing or exteriors company that lives on estimates, boards, photos, financing and insurance-claim workflows, reviewers call it affordable for what it does, with the complaint that add-ons and integrations push the bill up.12 Jobber and Housecall Pro publish their prices ($99 to $299 and $149 a month on their mid tiers) and are built for repeat-service trades. JobNimbus is built for project-shaped roofing work and priced by seat behind a quote. See Jobber pricing and Housecall Pro pricing for the like-for-like numbers.
Does JobNimbus handle roof maintenance agreements or inspection plans?
No. JobNimbus has no membership, service-plan or recurring-job object, and its help center says recurring tasks can't be created in JobNimbus at all; the workaround is a two-way Google Calendar sync.13 Roofers who sell annual inspection or maintenance plans track them in a spreadsheet or a companion tool such as Deepsel beside JobNimbus, and enter each booked visit as a normal JobNimbus job.
